I wrote the entirety of this story yesterday, all 3,490 words of it. I didn't finish until after 1 AM so I went to bed when I was done, but now that I'm awake again I'll share it here now.

It's pretty long, so I'm not calling it a drabble.

Greetings everyone!

Yes, after a VERY long time without updates, I'm resurrecting this journal! XD

I'll be posting what I call my Drabble Collection. Basically, they're short little stories (usually 200-500 words or so) that pop into my head randomly and force me to write them. XD

My characters are nameless and faceless - meaning, I don't describe their looks or ever give them proper names. I'll always refer to them via pronouns (he, she, him, her, they). Although, they are based off of real people. :)

I do this so you can imagine whoever you want in their place. I want you to picture them in whatever way you want. :) If anyone wants to try a hand at drawing them, I'd love to see your interpretation. <3

I'll be posting one each day until I run out. XD I'll try to write a new one once a week or so. No guarantees though. XD

Man...its been forever since I've updated this. But lately I just haven't had the inspiration to write anything. I've finally managed to come up with a new poem however.

This is entitled "So Lucky". I hope you enjoy it. :)

So Lucky

As I float away from dreamland
Into the world of consciousness
I can feel your arm around me
And I hear your gentle breathing
And all I can think
Is how did I get so lucky?

We sit side by side
In the theatre holding hands
I watch you smiling
And laughing at the screen
Your hand tightens around mine
And you smile back at me
And all I can think
Is how did I get so lucky?

In the corner of the couch, I curl up
Crying softly
You’re upset with me
But you soften at my tears
You scoop me up in your arms
Pulling me close, telling me it’s all right
And as I cuddle closer
All I can think
Is how did I get so lucky?

As far as I know, "Aishiteru" means "I love you" in Japanese. I picked that up somewhere. XD

Darkness falls
I think of you
I cry
At the thought of your smile

Strange, it seems
But to me, its not
As I’m leaving you
For quite a while

I know I like you
Maybe love you
Do you know?
I can’t tell

You are mysterious
Seem somewhat shy
I never could read you
Very well

Something about you
Made me smile
I’m still
Not quite sure what

And it saddens me
To know that now
I won’t see you
For several months

Knowing you’d be there

Look past my glasses

Look past the shyness
And fear in my eyes
Look past everything
To see the beauty inside

There's more to my beauty
Than what you can see
I am kindness, compassion
And best friend there could be

I'd never judge you
Or hurt you at all
